Our Purpose is to:
- provide a place where brokenness can freely be acknowledged
- provide Biblical professional counseling
- provide counseling groups where people can heal in community
- provide lay led support groups
- offer training for those who wish to develop care-giving gifts
- offer classes and seminars addressing ways we all struggle
- be an entry point for people outside of Calvary Church who are hurting
About us
The Counseling Center @ Calvary Church is located in the lower level at the south end of Calvary Church. The offices and waiting area are provided by the church and house Christ centered counselors in private practice. The Center's counselors are not on staff at Calvary Church, and Calvary Church is not held responsible for their private practices.
In addition to one on one professional counseling, the Center offers groups, classess, and lay caregiver training. Individual conuseling and counseling groups are offered for a fee. Classes, seminars, support groups, and most training are offered as a ministry to Calvary Church.
The Staff
Pamela Pedrow has her Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University. She is licensed with the State of Colorado and has been in private practice for 12 years. Pam offfers Individual, Marital and Group counseling and is trained in EMDR. She serves as director of the Counseling Center.
Stacey Blank has her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University. She is licensed with the State of Colorado and also is a certified addiction counselor. Stacey is trained in EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has worked for 12 years as a behavioral health therapist and addiction counselor in the hospital setting.
Clinton Clark has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. He focuses on sexual addiction, sexual compulsion, gender identity issues, and adolescents. Clint is also a conference speaker dealing with Men's issues.
Derrick Hinds has a Masters Degree in Counseling from Denver Seminiary. He has experience working with youth, groups, couples, and addiction. He also teaches counseling classes at Denver Seminary.
Cheryl King MA has her Masters in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University and has completed the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Trevecca Nazarene University as a post graduate. She has worked in private practice with couples, families, and children. Cheryl has also provided psycho-educational classes in parenting.
Jenna Marquis has a Master in Counseling Degree from Colorado Christian University. Jenna has eight years of experience with youth through Young Life and has done residential counseling with adolescents. She specializes in adolescents and young adults.
